Right now, every year, I am already in full Christmas card design mode. I look around to get inspiration, and then I get to designing my family’s card in Photoshop for printing at Vistaprint. I love Vistaprint for several reasons:
1) They are affordable!
2) They offer a wide variety of products.
3) They have blank .psd templates with “safe printing area” guides for you to download and use to make sure everything fits perfectly! This is my favorite feature besides the affordability …

I loooove PS actions! They are so much fun to play with, and enhance your photographs quickly. I decided recently that I would try my own hand at recording a PS action, and let you all have a copy of it and see what you think! Maybe you’ll enjoy it, maybe you won’t….. Let me know!

Things are very chaotic in a house with 3 children, so I probably have lost any readers I did have, but I just found some great free PS actions that I just HAD to write about! These actions were found on the My Four Hens Photography website. I don’t know about you, but I am obsessed with Photoshop actions! They can do many small tasks in the blink of …

To be clear, the kids (ages 6 and almost 3) aren’t supposed to even get on my computer …

Hello everyone! Boy has it been a very long time without writing on my blog! I have had a lot on my plate lately, mainly relating to family illnesses, so I am just coming out of that fog and able to post on here again…
I wanted to put a very basic tutorial on here about how I first go about editing a photo. I will show you two examples, with screenshots. This is only editing for exposure, color …

Hi! I found the cutest layout on twopeas.com this morning… It is actually a paper layout, but I do really like to take inspiration from paper layouts too. This one really kind of makes me laugh because I too, love “flair” on Facebook, and that’s the subject of this layout! I just love the way she used so many brightly colored “flair” with a plain, cardboard background, and black and white lettering on her title… I also love the way …

Here is a free alpha I made to go with my Pinstripes & Polkadots kit… Gold glitter framed with silver. Here is a close-up view of the “e”. All lowercase letters, all in .png format, created and saved at 300 ppi. Just click the link below to download. And it’s a pretty big file, so hopefully it won’t take too long! Enjoy…
